How do I know if Metrofinish's services are right for me?

How long does the process take?
Usually refinishing a standard size tub takes between 2 and 3 hours.
What do I have to do before your technician arrives?
All we ask is that you leave the area as clean as possible and dry.
How long until I can use my tub, tile surround or countertops?
Our industrial grade, low VOC epoxy will be dry to the touch in as little as 30 minutes, however we strongly suggest you wait at least 24 hours before returning to normal use.
Will there be an odor during or after the process?
During the process, it may smell like fresh paint, but our onsite ventilators should control most of the odor. After 24 hours, the surface is set and will not emit any more odor.
Can I resurface my bathtub; if it has been resurfaced before?
YES! for a small extra fee, we can strip off the old surface and have it ready for resurfacing in about an hour.
What is involved in your proven 7 step process?
Our expert technicians start by carefully removing all hardware and fixtures. We then apply an approved commercial grade etching gel to the surface and scour down to the bare material. Next we remove all old caulking and thoroughly clean all surfaces. Now we are ready to tape off all surfaces not being treated. Once the area is prepared, we carefully apply the first two coats of industrial grade, low VOC epoxy. After reapplying caulk, we seal everything up with a third and final coat.
